During this workshop, you will not only learn how to take stunning images at night, but you will learn about the night sky - the Milky Way, moon phases, and all of the other variables in play when it comes to shooting the night sky throughout the year.

We kick off just before sunset and meet at our location, with a clear view to the East and away from light pollution. We start with a quick overview of night photography, including equipment, what and when to shoot and how to plan your night sessions for optimum results with the use of apps.

We'll then get hands-on where we'll guide you through shooting night scenes, the Milky Way, and how to shoot star trails and panoramas.

If you do not have a camera and would still like to learn how to capture the night sky, we cameras, lenses and tripods for hire on the night.
